The biocidal products that are used in the field of public health are regulated by a circular
of the Ministry prepared on the scope of the 'Regulation on Special Qualifications of Food and Goods and Supplies Concerning General Health' which was promulgated based on the Law on Public Hygiene numbered 1593 and
published in the year 1930. There is still no regulation that covers the scope of the Directive 98/8/EC. Ministry aims to draft a regulation which is in complience with the Directive in the scope of this project.
The circular mentioned above covers the circular dated 08.07.1983 and numbered 5677 and the Application
Form for Authorisation of the Pesticides and Derivatives that are Used in the Field of Public Health which was prepared by the 'Scientific Council' composed of academicians.
